Breakfast club

Our Breakfast club runs from 7.30am to 8.50am and is supervised by a dedicated team of appropriately qualified and trained school staff. 

We provide healthy, nutritious breakfast and a safe, secure environment for the children to enjoy fun activities and meet friends outside of the classroom.

Breakfast club is a great way to start the school day.

 

Breakfast 

Children can choose from a tasty selection of cereal, toast with butter, jam, lemon curd or marmalade, beans on toast and drinks of fruit juice milk or water.

To allow sufficient time for clearing away, children must arrive before 8.05am to receive a breakfast. 

Booking and payment terms and conditions

Booking

• Log in to your parentpay account
• Click on Active payment items                   
• This will display all the items available to you (including school meals/trips etc.)

Session options are:

Current Fees (24/25) Breakfast club early start 7.30am     £6 Breakfast club 7.50 start                   £5 ACE club 4.30pm finish                    £5.50 ACE club late stay 5.30pm finish     £8

• Click on the blue ‘view’ box to select the session you want to book
• Click on the ‘Book meals and places’ box
• ‘Make booking for’ select the session again from the drop down box
• ‘Week commencing’ select the date from the drop down box. You can select individual or multiple days in that week. 
• It is important to remember to click on ‘confirm' (further down the page) before moving on to another week or another session time otherwise your booking will not be processed.
• There is an option to click on ‘next week’ to make further bookings if required.
• Payment must be made in advance or the booking will be automatically cancelled and your child will not be on the register. 
• Please ensure there are enough funds in your account to cover all of your booking.  If there are not sufficient funds the booking will be cancelled automatically on parentpay and your child will not appear on our register. This will consitute an unbooked session and will incur an admin fee of £2 which will be debited on your parentpay account.

Bookings, Cancellations and Refunds

You can add multiple sessions to your basket before making payment.

Payment must be made to secure your booking otherwise it will be automatically cancelled.

Bookings and cancellations can be made upto 1 full day before the day of the session (eg: a Friday booking can be made or cancelled no later than Wednesday). 

To cancel you will need to 'unbook' your booking. A booked session will be GREEN and will turn GREY when cancelled.   This can only be done with the time limits detailed above. 

No refunds/credits will be given for unused sessions, this includes absence due to illness. 

Due to health & safety and operational constraints places are limited.

Your child must not turn up on the day without having made a paid booking.

Unbooked attendance will incur the session fee plus an admin charge of £2.

 

Childcare Vouchers & Government Tax Free scheme - You will still need to book via parentpay if using childcare vouchers.

We accept payment by childcare vouchers inc. the Government Tax free scheme , we will need to set this up in advance by crediting your voucher value to your account. 

Please ensure you make arrangements for voucher payments in plenty of time.  We aim to process these as soon as we can but we recommend that you allow at least 5 school working days for your payment to be processed and appear in parentpay once it reaches our account.  

For each payment you will need to supply the information below (email to: r.burton@ashbyce.leics.sch.uk).

 

• Name of voucher provider
• Voucher amount
• Payment reference number (one for each child if more than 1)
• Payment date
• Which Parentpay payment item (ie:  which session ACE club, 4.30 or late stay) you would like credited.
• Name of child

 

Pupil premium funded places – You will still need to book via parentpay if your child’s place is funded.

If your child is eligible for pupil premium you can request funding for before and after school club sessions.  This will need setting up beforehand so please speak to the school to make the necessary arrangements in advance.

 

Late collections/early drop off’s

Early drop off or late collection will be recorded on the day and charged for at the extended session rate + £2 admin fee per session.  Please remember that School doors shut promptly at 5.30pm.  Collections after this time will be charged at £2 per 5 mins + £2 admin fee.

 

Parking

Please do not use school car parks at any time, this includes dropping your child of for Breakfast Club. Thank you for your support with this.
