Intent
At Ashby Church of England Primary School children will be taught French as a modern foreign language in Key Stage 2. In the increasingly multicultural and globalised world that we live in, we seek to awaken a sense of self, with understanding of different cultures and a love of language. We aim to ensure that language learning will drive our pupils’ aspirations and open doors for their future in our global economy.
